Our trip to British Columbia
From Amsterdam we flew to Vancouver on the 4th
June 2010. The next day we picked up our RV and
took the ferry to Vancouver Island and Victoria. From
the north of Vancouver Island we will take the ferry
traveling the Inside Passage to Prince Rupert. The
Cassiar Highway will take us just across the Yukon
Border where we will turn south-east on the Alaska
Higway. This higway will take us in the direction of the
Rocky Mountains and Wells Gray Provincial Park.
Driving west we will join the Sea to Sky Highway past
Whistler and back to Vancouver. We will fly back to
Amsterdam on the 3rd July 2010.
Onze reis naar British Columbia
Vanaf Amsterdam vlogen we naar Vancouver op 4 juni
2010. De volgende dag haalden we onze camper op
en namen de veerboot naar Vancouver Island en
Victoria. Van het noorden van Vancouver Island nemen
we de veerboot naar Prince Rupert en varen de Inside
Passage. De Cassiar Highway brengt ons net over de
grens in Yukon naar de Alaska Highway. Deze weg
volgen we in zuid-oostelijke richting de Rocky
Mountains en Wells Gray Provincial Park. Vanaf hier
gaat het westwaarts naar de Sea to Sky Higway en
langs Whistler terug naar Vancouver. We vliegen op 3
juli 2010 terug naar Amsterdam.
